What I do
Creative direction, strategy & planning
Establishing relationships with stakeholders, learning about users, their needs and business requirements help to define clear objectives and path forward. Furthermore, brainstorming ideas together, defining vision and strategy to integrate user and business needs builds common understanding among the team and is a key to archive maximum value. Prioritizing, scaling, coordinating, estimating efforts and outsourcing work are often integrated into my design process.
User Research
Researching users needs and journeys is essential to learn about experience gaps, pain pinpoints, and to identify design opportunities. This work may stretch from planning the research, qualitative studies and quantitative data analysis to creating personas and journey maps, defining user workflows and scenarios. Additionally, heuristic evaluation of digital experiences; competitive analysis and user testing further help to inform objectives, design direction and coutinues improvement pf products and services.
Design Innovation
Innovations starts with design thinking through workshops and ideation, mockups and sketches, strategizing and creating content, identifying taxonomy and navigation, developing wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, visualizations and presentations. Final solutions are defined through iterative process, which often involves user testing via a prototype or other stimuli, and getting technology review. The solutions can include print, digital – web, mobile applications, and omni-channel integrated experiences.
Developing visual language and style, design systems
Design systems provide standards for user interface elements, visual style and interactivity guiding development and business ensuring consistency and cohesive experience. Integrating brand identity (typography, colors, visual style and tone) into application visual language furthermore solidifies original recognizable services or products. Leographico offers expertise in creating identities and visual language, establishing design systems including standards for usability and accessibility.
Human-centered methodologies
Crafting user-centric solutions involves deep understanding of user needs, incorporating user feedback and research, integrating insights from user testing, and more. This helps to ensure more relevant, efficient and engaging user experience, adequate usability and accessibility.
Effective collaboration
Collaborating closely with product owners, business analysts, researchers, content strategist, designers, and software engineers assist efficient team work and decision making. This often involves workshops to ideate and construct experiences, prioritize and scale, plan and strategize. All – waterfall, agile, or hybrid development can be used to accommodate specific project or client needs and processes.
Advocating and coaching
Advocating for best UX practices, usability and accessibility has been part of my involvement, which resulted improved user, product and service experiences. Clients like Blue Cross, Mayo Clinic, Thomson Reuters incorporated these practices gaining much better KPI and engagement. Furthermore, embedding human-centered methodologies into business culture helps common understanding of user-centric value and goals among stakeholders, improves collaboration and work efficiency.
