Establishing consistent and quality product experiences was a primary goal in creating Digital Experience Guidelines for Blue Cross. Such design system describes major user interface elements and interactive patters, and in this case of Blue Cross, I aimed even more by creating a one-stop resource for omni-channel communications and digital experiences.

I started this project by outlining major topics and table of content, while also checking out current and future product and marketing needs to make sure include standards for all stakeholders. Thought engagement with key area experts and by getting content and reviewing in progress screens, this design system turned into very useful guidance on many topics, including writing, brand expression, color and typography, mobile app code, accessibility, domain names and PDF governance, UX best practices.
